PIANIST
Piano is an indispensable part of the musician’s life. Having studied in different parts of the world, his piano performance features a combination of different schools.
As a pianist, he has eclectic taste and an expansive technique. Having studied around the world, he is especially adept at performing late Romantic and Chinese piano music. In 2023, Naxos Records has published his album Piano Miniatures from China. The ten pieces in this collection have been carefully selected as being most representative of Chinese culture.
He dives deeply into each note, meticulously studying the composer’s intention with his own exceptional musical lens. His discography includes myriad CDs and videos. In demand as performer, he has given concerts in Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, New York, and Beijing.
